TiTAN Platform US, introduced TiTAN Core, an all-in-one smart home and entertainment hub that manages smart devices and provides access to a broad choice of entertainment content programming. TiTAN Platform previewed TiTAN Core at CE Week in July.
For the first time, consumers will be able to manage their smart home devices – lights, thermostats and home security – while enjoying unlimited on-demand content, including premium movies, global TV and digital-first content as well as games, 4K VR content (with standalone 4K VR headset available), podcasts and karaoke – all from one central hub. The content is hosted via TiTAN Play, an encrypted, transactional software platform available in the US in July across iOS and Android devices.
TiTAN Core features voice control, utilizing Google Voice and provides an Internet of Things (IoT) home gateway function. Consumers simply download the Titan Play app from iTunes or Google Play and sync it with the Titan Core device. Then they can use the included remote or their smart phone as a remote control.
“The smart home market is the wild west of devices that don’t communicate with each other, preventing cross-platform ease of use,” said Adrian Sexton, TiTAN Platform US CEO. “We’re helping consumers and retailers unify their connected home experience by providing TiTAN Core, an all-in-one, user friendly device to manage all smart products. In addition, we’re forging multiple strategic content and retail partnerships across traditional and digital to bring consumers a wide range of premium entertainment with a focus on innovation and AI in our programming.”
TiTAN Core will be available starting September 2017 at TitanPlatform.us and via select consumer electronics retailers and mobile carriers.
